Reflection Unit
These two lessons are excellent for my district's unit on "reflection." The two books I chose were Hey, Little Ant and Little Red Bird. In both of these books, the characters (and readers) had to reflect on different choices and ultimately decide for themselves what would be the right choice. Neither book has a clear ending, as both authors call upon readers to make the decisions. Furthermore, they both have deeper messages that readers can learn from the text.
